HOURS & SALARY: Minimum of three hours per month, with a hiring range of $14.89 - $16.75 an hour.
(This is an evergreen position, meaning this requisition will remain open for an extended amount of time to support a consistant flow of substitutes. Laramie County Library System is looking for enthusiastic, customer service-minded individuals to be Substitute Library Assistants. This position works a variable schedule including evenings and weekends, sometimes on short notice, on an as-needed basis, with a minimum of three hours monthly. The primary role of this position is working at the public service desks to create a welcoming environment for patrons by greeting them, responding to their requests for service, and assisting with their information needs. Substitute Library Assistants may be scheduled at any Laramie County Library branch (Cheyenne, Burns or Pine Bluffs).

JOB SUMMARY:
The Substitute Library Assistant works a variable schedule including evenings and weekends, sometimes on short notice, on an as-needed basis. Substitute Library Assistants create a welcoming environment for patrons by greeting them and responding to their requests for service. They assist patrons with their information needs. Substitute shifts may be scheduled at any Laramie County library branch.
