Indianapolis, IN - Mid-Level Planner (PM)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Principal in Charge to manage projects including budgets, scope, schedule, project coordination, project team leadership, and other team members.
  • Produce outstanding client-based deliverables and technical solutions for each project.
  • Provide proactive and consistent management of staff performance to ensure adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Empower individuals to serve our clients in a professional, productive, and collaborative manner.
  • Collaborate with the team regularly to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Take initiative for internal firmwide activities and committees.


Proficiencies:

  • Ensure a workplace environment of belonging for all.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment across multiple offices.
  • Exhibit a growing level of autonomy in managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to produce exceptional deliverables, including site plan designs, specifications, and costs for land development, based on client needs and technical solutions.
  • Ability to anticipate, prioritize, and delegate project needs.
  • Required proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and GIS.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in planning, urban design, or landscape architecture required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • AICP certification strongly desired.
