We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Greenville, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing, surgical preparation, and intraoperative patient care. This role requires adaptability, technical proficiency, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.
License: Active South Carolina RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
Certifications: AHA BLS required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience
Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions permitted)
Shift: 3x12-Hour Days (06:50 – 19:20)
Call: 2 call shifts per week and 1–2 weekends per 6-week schedule (subject to department needs)
Start Date: Approximately 3 weeks after signed contract
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
Block Scheduling: Not guaranteed
RTO Policy: All time-off requests must be included at submission; approval is based on facility needs
While every effort is made to keep staff in their assigned unit, travel nurses must be prepared to float to other qualified units or facilities within the system based on census and staffing needs. Floating will occur only within areas that match the nurse’s demonstrated competencies.

Parking: Free on-site parking
Orientation: 16 hours (non-billable)
Provide perioperative nursing care, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
Maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to support efficient and high-quality surgical procedures
Monitor and document patient vitals, medications, and responses throughout procedures
Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and instruments for scheduled cases
Adhere to all regulatory standards and best practices in patient care and surgical support
