The current opening is for a Maintenance Manager. Main duties include:

• Lead/manage the entire department, approximately 7 salaried direct reports
• Oversee, train, and mentor the Union workforce in the maintenance department
• Responsible for maintaining all equipment
• Identify, plan, and implement a robust preventative maintenance plan
• Provide root-cause analysis for equipment failures and develop appropriate solutions
• Create the weekly work schedule for Union employees
• Perform all administrative duties as necessary

Minimum qualifications of the Maintenance Manager:

• A 2-year degree in a technical field or higher is preferred, or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience managing an hourly Union workforce
• Steel industry experience
• Prior experience managing a department
• Strong background providing a safe and accident-free work environment
• Experience utilizing Excel and Oracle preferred
• Must be a strong problem-solver, critical-thinker, analytical
• Excellent communication and leadership ability
