Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and repeat business.
Market loan products to an established database of prospective clients.
Build and nurture relationships with realtors, CPAs, and other key referral sources to generate lending opportunities.
Represent the company at industry seminars, local chamber meetings, realtor events, broker open houses, and other networking opportunities.
Guide and pre-qualify potential homebuyers, ensuring they are well-informed throughout the lending process.
Accurately complete uniform residential loan applications and collect necessary supporting documentation while ensuring compliance with all mortgage lending regulations, including RESPA, TILA, and HMDA.
Monitor loan progress, ensuring adherence to FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA, and investor guidelines.
Maintain open and clear communication with loan processors, buyers, realtors, and builders regarding loan statuses.
Operate in a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work remotely or from one of our office locations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years as a Mortgage Loan Originator with a proven ability to self-generate loan production.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Encompass and/or Calyx Point is preferred.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of mortgage products, loan programs, regulatory requirements, and loan processing, underwriting, and closing procedures.
Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Licensing: Active NMLS registration is required.
