Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience in a Special Education classroom setting
• Valid South Carolina License
• Minimum 1 year experience
Responsibilities:
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Implement IEPs, assess students’ performance, and track their progress
• Update IEPs to reflect students’ progress and goals
• Assess students’ skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans
• Collect and analyze student data in order to make effective decisions to maximize achievement
• Discuss students’ progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families
• Other duties as assigned
Lake Ridge Center is a 74 bed secured Alzheimer's/Dementia facility. Each unit averages 25 patients. We are looking for an evening shift, 2:00PM-10:30PM, 4 on-2 off rotation.
