Saalex Solution s is seeking a  Junior Financial Analyst  in  Washington DC, Rockledge, CA or Ridgecrest ,CA . Position Type:  Full-Time

Essential Functions: The Junior Financial Analyst will provide financial and/or accounting support to the Accounting/Finance Departments and other activities. Duties include:

• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
• Track performance to spend plans and budgets.
• Prepare billing and funding reports as needed.
• Reconcile contract costs for variance preparation.
• Prepare and monitor contract close out status and documentation.
• Prepare unbilled A/R reconciliation.
• Provide support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls which could have significant impact on the organization and its business operations.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of financial management experience
• Intermediate level Excel skills 
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage overlapping projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
• BS or BA in a Relevant Financial Discipline OR an AS or AA in a Relevant Financial Discipline with an additional 2 years of experience OR a HS Diploma with an additional 3 years of experience required

Desired:

• Experience working with CostPoint.
• Experience working with Unanet.
• Experience with Government Contract Finance.

Security Clearance: 
Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS or BA in a Relevant Financial Discipline OR an AS or AA in a Relevant Financial Discipline with an additional 2 years of experience OR a HS Diploma with an additional 3 years of experience.
