Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team. This position requires weekly travel to various job sites across the Southeast. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, with a focus on healthcare projects, particularly in medical imaging facilities.

This position requires travel during the week but you are typically home on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, drywall, finishing, and cabinetry.
• Interpret and follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and molding.
• Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Instruct and direct laborers and other construction helpers.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Ability to travel 100% on a weekly basis - You will typically be away from home from Monday morning to Thursday or Friday
• Proven experience as a Carpenter.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
• Proficient in using power and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.).
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Must live within 1 hour of Gastonia, NC.
• Excellent physical condition and stamina.
