Position Overview

Prime Response Inc. is in the proposal phase seeking a highly experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee a potential warehousing operation with a strong preference for candidates familiar with Department of the Navy systems and logistics. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, compliant, and mission-ready warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with Department of War and Department of the Navy standards.
  
• Utilize Navy-specific systems to support warehousing needs and maintain compliance with federal regulations.
  
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, government stakeholders, and external partners to ensure operational transparency and coordination.
  
• Monitor and manage cost, schedule, and performance metrics to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet program objectives.
  
• Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and high productivity.
  
• Apply risk management policies and assessment methodologies to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing warehousing operations within the Department of War; Department of the Navy experience strongly preferred.
  
• Demonstrated expertise in Navy logistics systems and warehousing protocols.
  
• Proven ability to manage teams and communicate across diverse stakeholder groups.
  
• Strong background in performance management, cost control, and scheduling.
  
• Knowledge of risk management practices and experience implementing mitigation strategies.
  
• Active Secret Clearance required.
  

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DoD logistics software and inventory systems.
  
• Experience working in a government contracting environment.
  
• Leadership training or certifications in logistics or supply chain management.
