Job Description

Invisible Narratives — the first-of-its-kind tra-digital studio — is looking for a Hybrid Video + Sound Editor who can do it all. You’re as comfortable in the timeline as you are in the mix. You understand that picture and sound aren’t separate crafts — they feed each other — and when done right, they create something truly cinematic.

You’ll be cutting together episodes, trailers, sizzles, and creative materials across the Skibidi Toilet universe and other original IPs. From pacing and tone to rhythm and sound design, you’ll own the full post process — picture edit, sound design, mix, and delivery. This is a one-person creative engine role for someone who wants to shape the look  and sound of digital storytelling at scale.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Edit and mix videos, episodes, and short-form materials from rough cut to final delivery.
• Handle full sound design and audio post independently — from dialogue cleanup to final mix.
• Build rhythm, emotion, and cinematic tension through timing, pacing, and music.
• Work directly with creative leadership to translate storyboards and direction into finished edits.
• Layer sound, score, and visual effects to heighten impact and storytelling.
• Deliver broadcast-ready final exports optimized for YouTube, social, and MVOD platforms.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• A full-stack editor who’s fluent in both video and sound.
• Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro and either Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Reaper.
• Experience editing cinematic short-form content, animation, or stylized action.
• A natural sense of pacing, tone, and rhythm — you cut with your ears as much as your eyes.
• Ability to work fast, take feedback, and deliver broadcast-quality sound mixes.
• Passion for gaming, sci-fi, and animation worlds.

• Editors who only cut picture and hand off the mix.
• Traditional workflows that rely on big teams — this role is hands-on, agile, and creative.
• Anyone who doesn’t thrive in the chaos of internet-born storytelling.
