Position Overview Crystal Greens Landscape is seeking a skilled and motivated Tree Care Foreman to supervise daily tree care operations on commercial job sites. Reporting directly to the Tree Care Manager, you will lead crews in pruning, removals, planting, and other tree services, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution while training team members, conducting safety meetings, and maintaining outstanding client relationships. This is a physically demanding leadership role ideal for an accomplished arborist with at least five years in a Foreman or equivalent lead climber/crew leader position who excels in the outdoors, thrives on mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering superior tree care results. Essential Functions

• Operate standard truck and chipper (may require Class A or B CDL depending on equipment).
• Understand and perform first aid, CPR, and aerial rescue procedures.
• Train new employees and less experienced crew members.
• Organize tree removal, pruning, and planting operations efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with crew and clients while reading manuals and providing clear instructions.
• Promptly address customer needs and concerns with professionalism.
• Identify the majority of trees and shrubs common to the Pacific Northwest/Portland metro area.
• Develop and motivate crew members to inspire productivity, safety, and pride in workmanship.
• Conduct daily tailgate safety meetings and weekly safety trainings.
• Delegate work effectively and take full responsibility for crew performance and safety.
• React calmly and responsibly in emergency situations.
• Sign a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement (non-compete provisions will comply with current Oregon law).
• Work five consecutive 810 hour days (typically MondayFriday) with availability for overtime, weekends, or emergency call-outs as needed.
