LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as a Training Coordinator in Montgomery, AL . This position is responsible for conducting orientation and other training as needed in the district. This employee is required to have reliable personal transportation.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Coordinate with the District Administrative Services Coordinator or conduct Orientation. At a minimum this position will be responsible for conducting the safety training requirements for new-employee orientation.
  • Oversee or assist with departmental training, including presentation of LifeSouth- Developed training modules, Related quizzes, SOP-related exercises, and the renew of the scheduling
  • Oversee, implement, or assist with the implementation of Annual Safety Training for employees at assigned branch locations.
  • Update department-specific Training Manuals as materials are added, revised, and released by the training Department.
  • Travel with in assigned region to conduct training sessions and to ensure department training is implemented consistently and effectively. Wiliness/availability to travel are essential.
  • Coordinate with the District QC Coordinator to Assess needs for retraining.
  • Serve as the liaison for Training Department Personnel

Qualifications

  • Associate degree
  • Valid driver’s license. Must also meet and maintain LifeSouth driver’s eligibility requirements
  • CPR instructor/Trainer Certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Intermediate MS Office skills
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively
  • Wiliness/availability to travel and possible relocate.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • training/education experience desired
  • two years’ experience with LifeSouth Community Blood Centers preferred
