Test Engineer (No C2C or sponsorship at this time)

**5x onsite, local to Dallas, TX!

About the Position:

Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology company, is seeking a highly experienced Test Engineer.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and implement a robust automation testing framework from scratch to ensure application quality and scalability.
• Coach and mentor the team on best practices in automation testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bridge gaps in the current development pipeline.
• Design and execute automated tests using Selenium and Rest Assured.
• Contribute to the development of scalable, maintainable, and reliable test suites.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the scheduling application’s performance and usability.

Must-Have Skills and Requirements :

• Automation Expertise : Deep understanding of automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
• Framework Development : Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Selenium : Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Rest Assured : Proficiency in API testing and automation.
• Java : Strong programming skills, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience working with Azure-based applications.
• Familiarity with migrating legacy applications to modern platforms.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
