The Technical Stage Staff (STAT) operates the spotlight, sound equipment, and scenery and curtain cables during rehearsals and performances. He/she works closely with Stage and Production Managers to determine the type of sets, props, and equipment required for specific events.
The Technical Stage Staff may also assemble and disassemble equipment for shows and functions;
The STAT will be given additional responsibilities if assigned to ships with ice-skating rinks.
Previous experience in a similar role is required.
Should be knowledgeable in all aspects of stage production.
Should have the ability to perform minor theatrical repair work are preferred for this position.
Preferences will be given to applicants with a Technical Theater, Sound, Lights, and A/V degree; background in electrical, technical, and light and sound production; and audio, lighting, or rigging skills.
