Job Title: Tax Accountant
Location: Hammonton, New Jersey

Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $83000 - $130000 annually / DOE
Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Located in Hammonton, NJ, they pride themselves on collaborating closely with clients to deliver relevant, timely, and actionable financial insights. We’re looking for a skilled tax preparer to join and grow with their dynamic team.

Position Overview:
This on-site role offers a flexible schedule with hours that may vary weekly depending on workload volume. Availability Monday through Saturday allows you to tailor your workweek around your needs.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual and business tax returns with accuracy and efficiency

• Manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Review your own work to ensure quality and compliance

• Collaborate with team members and clients to provide timely tax solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a tax preparer

• Proficient in preparing NJ & PA individual income tax returns (Required)

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities

• CPA or EA designation preferred, but not mandatory

• Experience with UltraTax CS software is a strong plus

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate between $40 and $50, based on experience
