Do you have a proven track record of leading sales teams to exceed their multi-million dollar individual quotas and collectively book over $10 million of annual sales? Have you built and led world-class teams, shaped go-to-market strategies, and won in complex and competitive enterprise environments? Are you able to connect with prospect CMOs, CIOs, EVPs, Digital Solutions leaders, and technical staff? Do rapidly evolving technology (e.g. AI-enabled commerce) and changing business models get you excited? Can you understand and convey business drivers & strategies of B2B, retail, and other commerce markets? Do you get excited about helping global brands embrace digital transformation and lead the future of digital solutions including ecommerce?

McFadyen Digital is seeking a Senior Vice President of Sales to lead our global sales organization and fuel our next phase of growth. You’ll refine strategy, drive execution, and inspire a high-performing sales team to exceed ambitious revenue goals.

As SVP of Sales, you’ll blend data-driven decision-making with bold leadership, mentoring top sales talent, optimizing performance through analytics, and forging strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Adobe, Mirakl, BigCommerce, and others. This position reports to the CEO.

This is a high-impact, fully remote leadership role at the forefront of digital commerce innovation.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and scale a sales team to consistently exceed sales quotas and drive profitable net-new revenue growth.
  2. Oversee key client relationships and existing account management (in collaboration with our delivery team) to maximize retention, expansion, and long-term client success.
  3. Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure effective messaging, lead qualification, campaign follow-up, and pipeline management.
  4. Strengthen strategic alliances with our software partners for bidirectional lead sharing and joint GTM success.
  5. As part of the executive leadership team, help evolve our market offerings (e.g. add AI-enabled commerce solutions), define enterprise growth strategy, and provide accurate sales forecasts.

Other Responsibilities

  • Deepen relationships with major Digital Solutions and ecommerce platform partners (Adobe, Mirakl, BigCommerce, Shopify) and secondary partners (e.g. payment, tax, shipping, PIM, OMS, AI). Ensure that we are credited for leads that we source ourselves and share to partners.
  • Be hands-on to assist sales team members close large deals.
  • Oversee strategic account planning and long-term client relationship management.
  • Oversee proposal writing, RFP response, and SOW creation.
  • Partner with Finance to refine forecasting, compensation models, and growth metrics.
  • Represent McFadyen Digital as an executive thought leader at key industry events and conferences.
  • Foster a high-energy, high-accountability culture grounded in collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

  • 15+ years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in a sales leadership role driving high-performing teams.
  • Proven success exceeding multimillion-dollar revenue targets in Digital Solutions including ecommerce, digital transformation, and similar professional services.
  • Deep understanding of complex enterprise sales cycles, lead qualification, solution selling, and consultative engagements.
  • Strong analytical and strategic mindset, skilled at using CRM (Salesforce and/or HubSpot) and partner collaboration tools (e.g. CrossBeam) to drive insights, decisions, and sales success.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills that inspire confidence and performance.

  • Familiarity with adjacent technologies such as PIM, CPQ, CMS, OMS, ERP, CDP, analytics, journey optimizers, and headless commerce architectures.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving market solutions such as AI enabled commerce and agentic solutions.
  • Experience building and scaling sales processes, regional strategies, and partner programs.
  • A proven ability to manage large deals, negotiate at the executive level, and close with confidence.
  • Strong organizational and execution skills, balancing strategy with day-to-day performance leadership.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel up to 50% as needed.
