They need someone with extensive vendor management experience, working with vendor on software and hardware roll outs. They need to be the one who is hands on and responsible for the relationship with the vendor. They should have product management experience as well.
This is more of a Project Manager who understands product and software engineering. They will be working to manage a third party vendor who is building out their new POS and managing the POS deployments in each restaurant.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to define and document product requirements and specifications.
- Analyze product performance data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain release schedules, ensuring timely and coordinated product launches.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure successful product deployments.
- Monitor and report on the status of product releases, identifying and resolving any issues or risks.
- Assist in the creation of user documentation, release notes, and training materials for product launches.
- Support the Product Manager in backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and other Agile processes.
- Conduct post-release analysis to measure the success of product launches and gather feedback for future improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product analysis and release management.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a product analyst or release management role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with release management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Trello).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management and software development processes.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience in the quick-service restaurant industry or a related field.
- Certification in Agile, Scrum, or related methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
