Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Camden, South Carolina

Position Type: Full-Time (School Year Schedule)

Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated team of educators and support staff in Camden, SC.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs.
• Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders and determine eligibility for services.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and related service providers.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs in the classroom.
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and parents on strategies to enhance communication development.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
• Valid South Carolina SLP license or eligibility for licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• School-based experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children and making a difference in their lives.
