**Role Description**
Acts as a subject matter expert for assigned products, utilizing knowledge about the product features and customer insights to help guide development and backlog prioritzition. Conducts research and analysis on product perfromance and gathers feedback through interviews and surveys. Represents client perspective during strategy and planning meetings.
**Role Objectives: Delivery**
Build and maintain subject matter expertise covering assigned products. Understand the feature set, functions, use cases, and customer stories associated with the product. Maintain documentation to support user training and build knowledge base. Assist with research and analysis in support of product performance. Study current market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs. Understand customer "pain points" through feedback, surveys, and interviews. Develop KPIs to evaluate performance and benchmark against competitors. Log major bugs and feature requests for assigned products. Work with senior product specialists to translate into business and technical requirements for product management and engineering team. Participate in discussions to prioritize the product pipeline to ensure development efforts are focused on the highest impact items for customer needs. Utilize expertise with customer needs to support the development of product strategy. Represent the perspective of potential clients to help identify new opportunities and influence the discussion of product design and development.
**Role Objectives: Interpersonal**
Work with product managers and engineers to support the prioritization of the product development pipeline. Serve as a reference for the client perspective on the impact to customers of bugs and feature requests. Partner with business units, product management, sales, relationship management, marketing, and client service teams to develop cross-functional insight into customer needs which can be used to provide guidance on business and product strategy. Support Quality Assurance teams and testing design by developing and maintaining customer journeys and user stories to guide processes. Advise on the impact of exceptions during testing and the likelihood of certain bugs occurring. Develop relationships with clients and other external stakeholders to get high-quality feedback on client experience and understanding of their preferences, needs, and objectives.

Display advanced knowledge of the features, processes, use cases, and client journeys to serve as a subject matter expert to other teams on assigned products. Demonstrate an understanding of client needs, market and competitor landscape, organizational strategy, and business objectives to guide product prioritization and development. Exhibit functional ability to coordinate efforts across the entire product team to ensure bugs and feature requests are properly tracked and worked on in an efficient and optimized manner. Show communication and presentation skills required to effectively advocate the client perspective during planning and strategy development sessions.
