Job Description

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team!

Description
The Software Engineer shall be part of a team responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive Metrics and Monitoring solution for HPC systems to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of HPC infrastructure.

Position Required Skills
  • Experience using the Linux CLI
  • Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
  • Recent software development experience using Python
  • Experience with software frameworks used for searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data such as Splunk and Elastic Stack 
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools including Ansible
  • Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI 
  • Experience with Git Source Control System
  • Experience with Splunk for searching, monitoring, and analyzing big data.
Position Desired Skills
  • Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with Log Management tools including Syslog-ng and rsyslog
  • Experience with Kafka Messaging Framework

Qualifications
An active TS/SCI with polygraph is required.

The projected compensation range for this position is $100K - $300K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
