Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer with extensive expertise in Field Service Lightning (FSL), Service Cloud, and enterprise-grade integrations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions that streamline field and contact center operations, drive automation, and seamlessly integrate with critical enterprise systems in large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and configure core FSL components: Service Territories, Work Types, Work Orders, Service Appointments, Skills, and Resources.
- Implement Scheduling Policies, Optimization Rules, and Dispatcher Console configurations to enhance field efficiency
- Build and customize FSL Mobile solutions with offline capabilities and tailored UI for field technicians
- Automate FSL workflows using Process Builder, Flow, Triggers, and Apex (e.g., work order routing, technician tracking, inventory updates)
- Ensure secure, role-based access with Profiles, Permission Sets, and data visibility best practices
- Create real-time performance dashboards and reports using SOQL, SOSL, and Lightning Reports
- Implement and enhance Service Cloud features including Case Management, Queues, Assignment Rules, Entitlements, and Knowledge Base
- Set up Omni-Channel routing and integrations with CTI, chatbots, and messaging platforms for real-time agent workflows
- Extend Service Console functionality through custom Lightning components to improve agent productivity and customer visibility
- Automate SLAs, escalations, and customer support flows with Apex and Flow
- Integrate Service Cloud with enterprise systems like CRMs, ERPs, CTI, and ticketing platforms
- Design and implement robust, scalable integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, External Services, and middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, etc.)
- Develop and maintain complex, event-driven and real-time integration patterns for seamless data exchange with ERPs, inventory systems, IoT devices, and data lakes
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and integration teams to align Salesforce with microservices architectures, enterprise data hubs, and large-volume data flows
- Ensure secure integration practices including OAuth, named credentials, certificate-based auth, and encrypted payloads
- Optimize Apex code, batch jobs, and Lightning performance for high-volume environments
- Use Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Copado, or other CI/CD pipelines for version control and automated deployments
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate effort, and deliver scalable solutions in Agile teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of Salesforce development experience including Apex, LWC, and Triggers
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Field Service Lightning (FSL) and Service Cloud implementation
- Deep understanding of FSL Scheduling Optimization, Mobile App customization, and Work Order lifecycle
- Strong expertise in Service Cloud features such as Omni-Channel, Case Management, and Service Console
- Proven experience integrating Salesforce with ERP, CTI, CRM, and IoT systems using APIs and middleware
- Proficiency in SOQL, SOSL, Batch Apex, Queueable, and Asynchronous Apex
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of Salesforce Security Model, Sharing Rules, Profiles, and Permission Sets
- Experience working in complex, large-scale enterprise environments with high data volumes
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Field Service Consultant (Highly Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Experience with predictive maintenance, AI, Einstein Bots, or IoT integrations
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Kafka/RabbitMQ-based integrations
