About the Role We’re looking for a design leader who will spearhead this exciting 0-to-1 space. You will report to the Head of Merchant Design on our Design team which is a part of the Product organization, and manage a team of 7-8 talented product designers. We expect this role to be hybrid, working 1-2 days a week from one of our Design hubs. You’re excited about this opportunity because you will… Partner with cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations to define the vision and strategy for our Restaurant Service products. Actively practice and evangelize customer-centric thinking throughout the entire org. Partner with the design leadership team to build a holistic design strategy for the 3-sided marketplace ecosystem. Align the team’s priorities and deliverables to our overarching strategy and goals. Manage, develop, and hire a team of talented product designers. Coach and mentor designers on both soft and hard skills and help them develop and achieve career goals. Build a culture that elevates the team, in terms of both performance and morale. Establish an operating model that increases the team’s effectiveness.
