Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate potential loan opportunities, including property assessments and market analyses.
- Create and maintain financial models to project returns and assess risks.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards for management, highlighting key insights.
- Identify risks related to loan applications and property valuations.
- Partner with the underwriting team to enhance decision-making.
- Research industry trends and integrate findings into analyses.
- Support junior analysts in their professional growth.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial analysis workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master’s or CFA preferred.
- 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in real estate or lending.
- Expertise in financial modeling with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of hard money lending and property valuation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in financial software and tools; familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis software is a plus.
