The Development team advances the mission of the University of Idaho Foundation by inspiring private giving among alumni, friends, commodity groups, corporations and foundations. By building and strengthening relationships, our donor-centered approach connects stakeholders’ passions and philanthropic goals to opportunities to support the University of Idaho priorities.
Position Overview:
This position is responsible for the management of assigned prospects through cultivation activities, face-to-face visits, proposal development, identification of solicitation of major gifts primarily $100,000 or more from individuals, corporations and foundations. The incumbent is a key member of the college/unit fundraising team and works collaboratively to achieve fundraising goals for the college/unit and university, additionally serving as a member of units leadership teams. This position will have supervisory responsibilities for a unit or multiple units within the development team.
Duties may include:
Positions at this level typically manage a portfolio of donors rated primarily at $100,000 or more. They are expected to make 80 strategic moves and open a minimum of 10 proposals. Annually they will typically raise a minimum of $2,500,000.
