Job Title: SAP Datasphere and SAC Security Consultant

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job Type: Long Term Contract
Experience Level:5+ to 15 Years

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Datasphere Security:
• Design and implement security models for SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• Manage user authentication and authorization for secure access to data.
• Configure role-based and attribute-based access control (RBAC/ABAC) in Datasphere.
• Ensure secure data integration between SAP and non-SAP sources.
• Implement security monitoring and auditing tools for data protection and compliance.

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Security:
• Define and manage user roles, permissions, and access controls in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth, and identity management for SAC users.
• Configure data access and model security to prevent unauthorized access.
• Ensure secure connectivity between SAC, SAP Datasphere, and other data sources.
• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for SAC environments.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC):
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST, and other data security regulations.
• Implement security best practices for data governance, encryption, and audit logging.
• Conduct risk assessments and security gap analysis for SAP Datasphere and SAC.
• Work closely with IT security teams to integrate security policies and frameworks.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAC security administration.
• In-depth knowledge of role-based security models and access control mechanisms.
• Familiarity with SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).
• Experience with OAuth, SAML, and SSO authentication for SAP applications.
• Understanding of data encryption, masking, and compliance frameworks.

Professional Experience:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP security.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere and SAC security configurations.
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance best practices.
• Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory):
• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Analytics Cloud
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP System Security
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
