Job Description

We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Sales & Business Development Manager to join a leading Company located in the Hillsborough, NJ surrounding area.

We are searching for a Sales and Business Development Manager for our Magnet & Below the Hook Lifting Division, which manufactures Permanent Lifting Magnets for various part and plate handling applications. This division also manufactures Vacuum Lifting systems and other custom below-the-hook lifters. Candidates must be a sales leader with a demonstrated ability to continue to develop and optimize a sales process for our Industrial Manufactured Products. This position requires an individual with sales and estimating experience for an engineered and custom-manufactured product. The candidate must have a proven track record of working with similar industrial products in which application engineering must be utilized during the sale and estimating process.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading the sales organization and driving sales growth with new customers as well as our existing customer base.
  • Promoting the business vision with potential and current customers to establish partnerships that lead to sales growth.
  • Measuring sales and estimating opportunities through our Corporate CRM to evaluate sales performance.
  • Engaging with our customer base and evaluating their application which leads to product selections and estimating.
  • Preparing estimates and quotations that are derived from the engagement with our existing customer base and new incoming leads.
  • Develop a marketing plan that includes web and print advertising & participating in trade shows.
  • Evaluating and executing new sales channels to increase overall revenue.
  • Ability to Travel when necessary to visit key accounts
  • Ability to Travel if/when distribution network is set up.
  • Ability to work side by side with the Operations/Production management team for various strategic goals and job-specific handoffs.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years leading an Industrial Sales Organization.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in mechanical equipment
  • Customer-focused with a strong business background.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Products including Dynamics CRM or similar
  • Excellent presentation and sales skills.
  • Able to travel domestically within the USA when needed.
