Quality Manager Details:

Direct Hire position
$100,000.00 /annually
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of bolted joints, specify proper tooling, and optimize joint design through upfront analysis.
Acquire required fasteners, drawings, samples, and coordinate with test technicians to define test parameters and analyze joint test data.
Recommend production torque specifications and drive commonization of fasteners and joint practices where feasible.
Lead or support mechanical joint/fastener reviews and report fastener-related issues to management.
Work with suppliers to implement improvements, introduce new technologies, and support continuous improvement initiatives focusing on serviceability, assembly efficiency, and cost reduction.
Maintain flexibility to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines or resolve issues.

Quality Manager Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials Engineering or related field
5 or more years of experience in automotive OEM or supplier
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling
Knowledge of Quality Management System such as ISO 9001
