Job Description

Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager for their manufacturing plant in New Hampshire.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the Quality Department’s daily operations
• Implementing and executing quality and food safety programs
• Coordinating the local HACCP Team and partnering with Corporate Quality and Food Safety
• Leading all customer, regulatory, and third-party quality and food safety audits
• Investigating and responding to consumer and customer complaints
• Managing the non-conformance process
• Leading validation of all changes in manufacturing process
• Supporting new product and process trials and launches
• Being a member of the Plant Leadership Team
• Owning the budget for lab supplies, labor, general supplies, lab services, and pest control
• Ensuring compliance with GMP’s, SOPs, Corporate Programs & Training

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Food Science or Nutrition (preferred)
• 5+ years of Quality Management experience in food manufacturing
• Experience with sanitation oversight
• Strong knowledge of FDA/USDA/PCQI/SQF or BRC
• HACCP certification
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills
