Job Description

Application Developer (Python/Django)

Location:
Greenwood Village, CO

Job Purpose :

Looking for a developer to expand and maintain our ever-evolving business application. This is an application we designed to be a communication tool between our company and our nationwide client base. It has evolved since conception and now handles most of our internal business functions such as client billing and payroll for our employees. We have many fresh ideas for the application that we just need the right person to implement and help take the application to the next level. We are looking for someone that can also bring their own ideas to the table and think outside the box. This is a full-time position. The right candidate should also have experience administering Linux, as we have our own server in-house that we run the application from.

Duties Include :

- Adequately understand and interpret business requirements and turn them into functional code.

- Analyzing user requirements and requests and coming up with solutions to implement them.

- Identifying the need for new application features and functionality and implementing

- Identifying ways to streamline and upgrade existing features and implementing.

- Test and debug code

- Interface directly with company staff on issues they are having with the application.

- Must have experience with Agile Methodology, preferably Scrum.

Python, Django, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Linux, GitHub, PostGres, React JS, Selenium (nice to have but not necessary)
