Psych/Behavioral Health facility in Carlsbad, TX is hiring LPN/LVNs! This is a Psych/Behavioral Health facility working with patients with intellectual disabilities.
Duties: Passing meds, assessments, charting, LTC
Need: Psych LPN/LVN with minimum 1 year experience
Must have no past misdemeanors or past discipline on license
Location: Carlsbad, TX (outside of San Angelo, TX)
Length of Contract: 26 weeks
Orientation: Orientation takes place on the 1st and 16th of each month. Schedule is M-F 8a-5p for the first 3-4 weeks then placed on set schedule with rotating weekends (40 hours a week). Your first day will be a few hours touring the facility and filling out paperwork. This facility schedules your fingerprints on the first day that you are filling out paperwork so you do not have to make two trips coming to the facility before your start date. This is part of your on-boarding process.
Start: 7/1/25 or 7/16/25
Shifts: 2p-10p; 10p-6a rotating weekends
Items Needed for Submission : Resume, SKILLS CHECKLIST (ok to send during credentialing), two manager references from separate facilities, BLS.
RESUME : MUST SHOW RECENT SKILLED CARE/LTC EXPERIENCE (NURSING HOME/CORRECTIONS- NO HOME HEALTH OR CLINIC- THEY DON’T LIKE TO SEE HOSPITAL EITHER) They want to see experience passing meds to 20+ patients.
Fingerprints: Can be done the day before your start date. First day of reporting will be only a few hours getting your fingerprints and filling out paperwork UNLESS you can come the day before.
