Job Description

Process Development Engineer

Note: We do not hire C2C

Experience Required: 3 - 5 years

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an enterprise-wide, cross-division business unit model.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently.
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving goals.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a Technical Field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop processes based on product specifications.
  • Evaluate process and design alternatives following Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  • Understand and apply principles related to Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Ensure program compliance with Quality Control requirements, including Design Control and Process Validation.
  • Maintain awareness and understanding of intellectual property issues related to process development.
  • Stay informed about new developments in manufacturing and design technologies.
  • Understand and address work environment issues, including OSHA regulations.
  • Support divisional initiatives as directed by management, in alignment with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
  • Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements, as well as company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Foster positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.

This role requires a detail-oriented, organized individual with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. The ideal candidate should be driven by results and capable of managing multiple tasks while prioritizing effectively.
