Job Summary

Summary: A pizza production maker's job is to prepare, cook, and package pizzas according to company standards. This involves preparing dough, sauces, and toppings, operating ovens, and ensuring food safety and cleanliness. Other duties may include managing inventory, taking orders, and handling customer service.  
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Key responsibilities

  • Dough and topping preparation: Making pizza dough from scratch, preparing various sauces, and chopping and preparing all necessary toppings.
  • Pizza assembly: Assembling pizzas with precise amounts of sauce, cheese, and toppings according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Baking and cooking: Operating pizza ovens, monitoring cooking times and temperatures, and ensuring each pizza is cooked to perfection.
  • Food safety and sanitation: Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station, cleaning equipment, and ensuring all ingredients and food products meet safety standards.
  • Inventory and ordering: Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, and placing orders as needed.
  • Quality control: Ensuring the quality of ingredients and the final product consistently meets company standards.
  • Order fulfillment: Preparing and packaging pizzas for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely service.
  • Customer service (in some roles): Taking orders, handling payments, and interacting with customers, either in person or over the phone.
