Position Highlights - Position: Physician Assistant (PA) - Functional GI
- Function GI treats a group of disorders characterized by chronic gastrointestinal symptoms like abdominal pain, bloating, diarrhea, or constipation in the absence of structural or biochemical abnormalities.
- Location: 1000 Central Street, Suite 717, Evanston, IL 60201
- Full Time/Part Time: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Monday - Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. No Weekends, No Evenings, No Call
- Required Travel: Potential travel to other clinics in cook/lake county
What You Will Need - License: Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
- Education: Completion of Master's level program in specialty area
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Prior PA experience in GI required
What You Will Do - Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease
- Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
- Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
