Part – Time Desktop Support Associate
Immediate Opportunity – Needed ASAP!
Contract to Hire in Downtown Houston
Pay to $27 hourly
15-20 hours weekly with some hybrid opportunities

Join our team as a Desktop Support Associate at an esteemed nonprofit arts organization. Your role will involve providing hands-on desktop support and ensuring seamless IT operations to enhance the organization’s efficiency.

Required Skills:

Provide general help desk support to facilitate a customer service-oriented environment where all departments are encouraged to seek help and are satisfied with the guidance provided.
Approximately 15 hours per week as first-line desktop support, some work can be done remotely, but will require on-site availability for 2 to 3 days a week.
Provide end-user troubleshooting of peripherals, printing, and workstations, as needed.
Support all installed software, including Windows, Microsoft 365 suite, and Citrix.
Keep current on technology and business application trends and best practices, and lead projects related to implementing such best practices.
Provide analytics regarding the organization’s IT usage.
Attend weekly scheduled virtual IT team meetings.

Nice to Have Skills:

Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365 suite, and Citrix software.
Ability to provide analytics on IT usage within the organization.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Prior experience in a nonprofit or arts organization would be advantageous.
An Associate’s degree in IT or related field would be preferred.

Other Requirements:

Availability for approximately 15 -20 hours per week, with the flexibility to work remotely and onsite for 2-3 days a week.
Attendance at weekly virtual IT team meetings to collaborate on projects and initiatives.
