We are seeking a passionate and organized individual who loves planning and coordinating the logistics of events while creating warm, welcoming environments where families can learn and thrive. This role involves ensuring that childcare spaces are safe, nurturing, and thoughtfully designed to support children’s growth and well-being. The ideal candidate enjoys being around children, values their safety and happiness, and takes pride in fostering a secure, engaging atmosphere for families. Part-Time. Average 25 hours a week. Monthly nights and weekends for client events or fundraising events.
Bridge Events/Groups:
· Development of client events and facilitation of logistics of each event including volunteers
Kick Off, Shower, Year 1 Celebration, Year 2 Celebration
Organize gifts for each event
Childcare Volunteers
Event volunteers
Ordering Meals for events
· Creation of an event schedule and communication to clients
· Review success (through surveys and attendance) of all Bridge events, making recommendations for future event offerings.
· Train and coordinate childcare volunteers
Organize coverage for events and for weekly core classes
Staff childcare coverage for most events and classes
· Take clients to shop as needed when staff/volunteers/interns are not available
Analytics and Reporting:
· Assess monthly and quarterly with the Education Director about the milestones of the program needed for grant funding and contribute to board report with attendee numbers.
Meetings:
· Weekly Tuesday morning staff check-ins (optional)
· Bi-monthly check-in with Education Director
· Bi-monthly meeting with Bridge Team
· Quarterly Staff Retreats (optional)
· Other department meetings as needed
Degree/license/experience requirements:
· Event planning experience
· Experience working with volunteers, preferred.
· Experience working with parents is a plus
· Proficient in MS Office applications
