PrideStaff Carlsbad has an excellent Direct Hire opportunity in Carlsbad, CA

CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!

Experience with WATERPROOFING is a plus!

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the estimating process for our painting and waterproofing projects from start to finish
- Analyze project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase to ensure adherence to budget constraints
- Provide guidance on pricing strategies and value engineering opportunities

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction estimating, cost control, and project management
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
