Job Description

Job Title: Blender Operator Job Description As a Blender Operator, you will be responsible for transporting required ingredients and pre-weighs from the staging area to the blending area. You will monitor and incorporate push-outs and Dump to Bulk (DTB) back into the system, ensuring seamless production processes. Responsibilities + Hook up hoses, pumps, and lines for bulk concentrate or juice transfers from storage tanks. + Maintain, build, and start up filters, and inspect and maintain filter blankets. + Program touch screens for product delivery from the silo room to blend tanks. + Follow instructions on blending sheets, add proper ingredients, and accurately record amounts. + Obtain blend tank samples and deliver them to the quality laboratory for testing. + Complete blending sheets and ensure their accuracy. + Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the area throughout the shift. + Responsible for CIP sanitation of all blending lines, tanks, and equipment. + Remove empty barrels and bins from batching area to outside storage area and trailers. + Receive and unload tankers of bulk concentrates as needed. + Complete sanitation and line CIP as scheduled. Essential Skills + Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field. + Experience in pasteurization is highly preferred. + Proficiency in blending, batching, mixing, and compounding. + Ability to maintain accurate batch records. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the Food & Beverage industry is preferred. + Open to candidates from other industries. + Ability to perform manual physical labor and stand for long hours. Work Environment The work environment involves physical labor and the ability to consistently lift up to 50 pounds. The facility is non-climate controlled and can become hot. You will work with milk batches of 3-5k gallons and juice batches of 10-20k gallons without automated systems. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Deland, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $52000.00/yr. Dental, Health, Vision, 401k, PTO. Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Deland,FL.
