About Our Client:

Addison Group is partnering with our client to hire an Outreach Coordinator. This role will support community engagement initiatives, focusing on outreach to older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Job Description:

The Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing outreach strategies that connect the organization with local communities. This role requires strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to effectively present at community events and conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop structured outreach plans with measurable goals.
• Conduct community outreach activities in alignment with program objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, clergy, and organizations.
• Represent the program at local fairs, events, and conferences.
• Create and distribute outreach and marketing materials.
• Participate in staff trainings and program meetings.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and track statistics as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience engaging with the community, including older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
• Compassionate, professional, and adaptable.

Additional Details:

• Type: Contract (6 months)
• Start Date: ASAP (target within 2 weeks)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (35 hours per week)
• Location: Hybrid – 161 Corbin Place, Brooklyn, NY 11235
• Overtime: Not eligible
