Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Operational Risk Analyst to join our client's team in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating operational risks, ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and developing comprehensive internal control documentation to support organizational objectives. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with business process owners to enhance risk management practices. Responsibilities: - Conduct internal control testing to assess the design and effectiveness of key controls mitigating operational and financial reporting risks. - Develop and update business process flows, narratives, and procedures that highlight key risks and controls within critical processes. - Collaborate with business process owners to establish risk and control self-assessments that align with organizational compliance goals. - Create and maintain internal control documentation, including process narratives and flowcharts, to support Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and operational risk management objectives. - Monitor action items related to compliance programs, ensuring timely completion and resolution. - Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives. - Exercise independent judgment and discretion in decision-making and the execution of essential job functions. - Adhere to company policies, procedures, and guidelines while maintaining attendance and punctuality. - Work effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals. Requirements - Thorough understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 and the COSO Integrated Framework for Internal Control. - Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, regulations, and standards. - Proven ability to conduct research and apply critical thinking to problem-solving. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Related certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, or similar) and experience in public accounting or corporate risk functions are preferred.
