Vitria on the Square, conveniently located steps from Ohio State University, is looking for enthusiastic On-Call Banquet Servers to join our new team! If you're passionate about providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our banquet guests, we want to hear from you.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up equipment and items needed for a successful catered meal in a timely fashion
• Arrange buffets or food stations, set dining tables, and prepare for food and beverage service
• Execute meal service promptly and courteously while maintaining high quality and consistency
• Clean up equipment and items used during service and return them to storage for the next event
• Anticipate and address guest needs before and during events to provide high-quality service
• Bus tables by removing and separating tableware, plateware, glassware, and flatware

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit for up to 8 hours consecutively
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects
• Close vision required
• Ability to talk and hear

Qualifications:

• Ability to carry full banquet service trays for extended periods
• Understanding of proper room and table setups
• Exceptional guest service skills
• Professional communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Basic reading and writing skills
• At least one year of experience in catering or fine dining serving
