Role: Network Security Engineer

Location: Fort Mill, SC and Austin, TX– Hybrid role (3 days onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Requirements:

• Five or more years of Network and Security Engineering experience, with an emphasis on security products from Radware, Fortinet, Cisco and Palo Alto.
• Expert knowledge and experience in well-known security technologies/products, such as DDoS, proxy, vpn, firewalls, firewall orchestration and network access control
• Experience in network security hardening and controls as well experience using network monitoring and logging tools (i.e. SolarWinds, LiveNX, ELK)
• Critical thinker who can work in high-pressure situations due to the unpredictable nature of cyber threats.
• Advanced understand of network defense technology both on premise and cloud

Core Competencies:

• Hands on engineering level experience with Radware, Palo Alto, Fortinet and Cisco security products, including their management platforms
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technologies with business acumen.
• Experience with Radware Defense Pro hardware
• Experience with Cisco ISE, including the wifi portal
• Understanding of network security best practices
• Knowledge of native firewalls in AWS and Azure

Preferences:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• CCNA/CCNP/CISSP a plus.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Experience with Agile
