Network Infrastructure Engineer

What You'll Do:

Design, deploy, operate, and optimize network infrastructure across our data centers and cloud environments, with a strong focus on AWS services.
Tackle complex network issues, from load balancers to switches, ensuring seamless service delivery, including issues within AWS environments.
Drive our "Configuration as Code" approach, pushing the boundaries of network automation, leveraging AWS tools and scripting.
Provide expert guidance to software and systems engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing, particularly regarding AWS infrastructure.
Manage the networking aspects of our hybrid cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability and efficiency, with a strong focus on AWS integration.
Continuously refine our standards and practices, working closely with fellow engineers to enhance our network operations, especially within AWS.
Expand your skills and share your expertise within the production networking team and across the organization, with a focus on AWS best practices.

What You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
8+ years of experience in production network environments, ideally in large-scale global networks.
Deep understanding of IP networking fundamentals and protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN, DMVPN, IP Multicast, SDWAN).
Proficiency in L2/L3 switching architecture design and related technologies.
Extensive experience with firewall technologies (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
Familiarity with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Syslog, NetFlow).
Extensive experience with AWS cloud computing platforms, including CFT (CloudFormation Templates), Python, JSON, and scripting.
Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Experience with zero-trust security (Aruba ClearPass, Cisco ISE).
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to customer service principles and a proactive approach.
