Job Description

MLB & Associates is acting on behalf of our client, who is seeking to grow their team of NETA Level III and Level IV certified technicians.

NETA Certified Technician Level III or IV Core Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Testing and Maintenance:

• Performing acceptance testing and commissioning of new or retrofitted electrical equipment.
• Conducting electrical maintenance testing, including preventive maintenance.
• Performing high-current testing, relay testing,and cable testing.
• Conducting transformer oil testing and analysis.
• Performing power factortesting.
• Inspecting, testing,and troubleshooting low, medium, and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Testing and maintaining switchgear and circuitbreakers.

1. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensuring all work is conducted in strict compliance with regulatory laws and safety standards, including OSHA.
• Identifying and mitigating potential electrical hazards.

1. Troubleshooting and repair:

• Analyzing complex electrical problems and providing effective solutions.
• Performing repairs and adjustments on electrical equipment.
• Providing emergency on-call services.

1. Data Collection and Reporting:

• Collecting accurate data during testing and inspections.
• Generating detailedreports on equipment condition and performance.

1. Equipment Handling:

• Operating and maintaining specialized high voltage testing equipment.
• Working with equipment such as SF6 filled equipmentand gas insulated switchgear.

1. Transformer Work:

• Performing inspection, maintenance, testing and repairof transformers.
• Transformer fluidretrofill services. Key Skills and Qualifications:
• NETA certification is highly valued,indicating a high level of expertise.
• Proficiency in testing and maintaining variouselectrical equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

In essence, a NETA Certified technician is a highly skilled professional responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of critical electrical infrastructure.

Technicians will be provided with a companyvehicle, fuel card, company cell phone, company laptop, and basic test equipment assigned to the technician’s vehicle

Holiday Schedule

The set holidays are as follows:

New Year’s,Day Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day After Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve. and Christmas Day

401(k)

Employees are eligible to enroll in either a Traditional or Roth 401(k)through fidelity.

Contributions will be matchedat 100% of the employees, first 3% and 50% matchingof the next 3%.

Life Insurance

The hiring company offers $15K in life insurance at no additional cost to the employee.

The NETA III Wage Schedule starts at $50.25/hr and increases after each year.

The NETA IV Wage Schedule starts at $59.50/hr and increases after each year.
