We are seeking a passionate and skilled Mid-Senior PHP Full Stack Developer to join an expanding team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, and RESTful Web Services, and will be willing to work on-site at the Grand Haven, Michigan location. This position is 100% Onsite and not open for Remote.
Mid-Senior PHP Full Stack Developer Responsibilities:
– Architect, develop, and optimize Full-Stack web applications.
– Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
– Decompose product requirements into technical tasks with estimations
– Work with various tech stacks including Symfony, Laravel, Node JS, Angular.
– Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
– Communicate changes in focus, goals, priorities, and estimations.
Mid-Senior PHP Full Stack Developer Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
– Experience with LEMP stack (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP).
– Experience with PHP 8.2+ and PHP frameworks (Symfony, Laravel).
– Experience with WordPress Plugin Development.
– Experience with modern CSS, Bootstrap, and Tailwind CSS.
– Experience with Data Stores (MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, OpenSearch).
– Experience with RESTful APIs and their best practices.
– Experience with Cloud Services (AWS).
– Experience with Monitoring (Grafana).
– Experience with Agile development methodologies.
– Understanding of Security best practices.
– Experience with building client applications.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills.
– Positive and flexible attitude, innovative, and driven to build the best products.
Preferred Skills:
– Advanced PHP Programming (OOP, Error handling, Debugging, Security, Composer and Packages, PHP internals).
– Expertise in JavaScript and relevant frameworks (Typescript, Node.js, Angular, React, Qwik).
– Expertise in RESTful API standards and development.
– Expertise in Root Cause Analysis.
– Proficiency in Responsive Web Design.
– Proficiency in LEMP stack configuration.
– Proficiency with Infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Nginx, Redis, OpenSearch).
– Proficiency with Unit Tests and Test-Driven Development.
– Proficiency with External Integrations (Google, Facebook, Twilio, Mandrill, LinkedIn, etc.).
– Proficiency with performance optimization at various levels of the OSI model.
– Proficiency Mobile App Development.
