We are seeking a Microbiology Junior Analyst to support the day-to-day operations of a regional microbiology laboratory. What You’ll Do:

• Receive and register microbiological samples, ensuring proper documentation and quality control.
• Prepare microbiology media, reagents, and testing materials.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and contamination mitigation procedures.
• Perform cleaning and decontamination processes for lab surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintain laboratory inventory, assist with ordering supplies, and track consumables.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure accurate testing.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related field.
• 0-1 year of lab experience (internships or academic lab work welcome!).
• Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards, aseptic techniques, and cross-contamination prevention (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs as part of lab duties.

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm
