Job Description

Position Intel:

Seeking a performance marketing leader for the mental healthcare space who can turn data into breakthrough user acquisition strategies. As our Director of Performance Marketing, you'll lead our multi-million dollar growth initiatives that require both marketing excellence and healthcare sensitivity. You'll oversee our Agency of Record (AOR) relationship, optimize App Store (ASO) performance, and develop targeted campaigns that resonate with distinct audiences - from teens to parents to government entities - while adhering to healthcare privacy standards. The role demands a unique blend of aggressive growth tactics and careful compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the execution of paid user acquisition and ecosystem engagement strategy across various channels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with broader goals and messaging strategies.
  • Manage relationships with agency of record, digital marketing agencies, vendors, influencers, and partners to ensure high-quality deliverables, timely execution, a maximize ROI on digital marketing investments.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous strategic improvement in partnership with AOR and BI teams.
  • Drive experimental strategy with rigorous A/B/C testing on creative, landing pages, and app store copy to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Work closely with design and content teams to develop compelling, audience insight-driven ad creatives and landing page experiences.
  • Stay up to date with trends and new features in paid media platforms, implementing best practices to improve campaign performance.
  • Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and reporting of paid media campaigns through tools like Appsflyer, Google Analytics and other tracking platforms for successful execution of performance marketing.

Top Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing performance marketing platforms (Google Performance Max, Meta, LinkedIn, OTT, OOH, etc.), preferably in the DTC healthcare industry.
  • Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and paid media platforms.
  • Manage platforms like Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, Discord, and Reddit.
  • Ability to oversee campaign strategy and execution (agency-led but internal check-ins)

Bonus Points:

  • Ability to ensure proper tracking, attribution, and reporting of paid media campaigns through tools like Appsflyer (<-- exp. w/ this tool is the bonus point)
  • Experience interacting with an agency and holding it accountable (this is a cross functional role, internally and externally)
