Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a consultant with experience running MQ on Mainframe z/OS running on z16 for an IT infrastructure MSP client. This is a hybrid role that requires work 50% of the time onsite at our end client’s Albany, NY location. Responsibilities include:
- Plan, organize, coordinate and participate in all MQ middleware initiatives and projects
- Administer, troubleshoot and maintain, including migration, upgrade of IBM MQ on Mainframe, ACE((IIB), CP4I on OpenShift Platforms.
- Work on a Modernization and Integration effort with other Team in the enterprise.
- Document best practices; prepare training materials, and mentor client staff.
- Integrate middleware MQ with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, Dynatrace as applicable.
- Support on-call staff in restoring services, resolving incidents, RCA and problem tickets.
Compensation
$60-$68 per hour for the duration of the 48 month (4 year) contract.
