Miraculous Corp. is looking for a Licensing Manager.

This position is based in Los Angeles.

Miraculous Corp is the groundbreaking joint-venture between Mediawan, Europe’s premier independent production powerhouse led by Pierre-Antoine Capton, and Zag, the innovative independent animation studio renowned for crafting original tales and IPs led by Jeremy Zag, that reunites all facets of the globally acclaimed Miraculous franchise. In 2025 Miraculous is celebrating its 10th Birthday! Launched in 2015 as an original animated series from Zag Entertainment, Miraculous Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is watched and loved by tens of millions of fans all over the world. In 2024, owners Mediawan and Zag Entertainment created Miraculous Corp, a company dedicated to building this hugely popular show into a franchise universe of teen superheroes.

Miraculous Corp has 175+ employees around the world, with offices in Paris, London, Miami, and Los Angeles, and team members in Mexico City, Sao Paolo, Madrid and Dubai.

As Licensing Manager, North America, you will have the opportunity to work on the Miraculous Corp. franchise. You will oversee and grow licensed partnerships to ensure the successful development of our existing partners and launch of new products. You will source, develop strategic relationships, negotiate, and implement deals with licensees. You willmanage and grow our existing account base, and lead the development of exciting new products. You will also collaborate with cross-functional partners to inplement licensing business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the SVP, Licensing NA and VP of Retail to formulate category strategies to meet and exceed our long-term brand plans and financial goals.
  • Identify, develop, and implement new licensing initiatives across key categories.
  • Establish financials goals and business strategies to achieve them, providing input in overall short-term and long-range budget targets.
  • Analyze, pitch, and negotiate new licensing deals
  • Seek opportunities for growth across new product categories and retailers and champion white space opportunities within North America.
  • Monitor sales results to ensure revenues meet budgetary goals.
  • Create and maintain the database of current and potential partners
  • Serve as primary point of contact to provide support, information, and materials for licensees to develop new products and continued retail expansion of existing products.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Product business leaders, Franchise, Global Creative Group, Retail Development, Finance, Operations, and Legal to drive the category business strategies across all Miraculous franchises.
  • Lead daily communication with Global Creative Group to coordinate all product development benchmarks, including product approvals and any rush requests.
  • Collaborate with Retail Development team to track performance, address issues and launch strategies. Together, ensure licensees are up to date on all major retail initiatives and are actively pitching products for all key seasons throughout the year.
  • Handle day to day relationship with licensees.
  • Provide support in the contract management process. Manage input of contracts in our Flowhaven system and ensure a smooth and timely process from beginning to contract signature with legal.
  • Maintain knowledge of current industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Implement new licensee onboarding including Deal Memo set up, business health checks, and Creative 101’s.
  • Liaise with creative team and partner through product development and approval process.
  • Ensure licensees deliver product line suitable for core category & brand values.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years working within the licensing industry in an entertainment licensing role; North America experience preferred

  • Thorough understanding of the e-commerce landscape preferred

  • Flexible and able to adapt to diverse projects and competing priorities
  • Able to creatively solve problems with an out of the box mentality
  • Good understanding of Miraculous brand position and retail environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management skills and organization
  • Proficiency in Flowhaven, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and/or Keynote
