Junior Macro Trader | Growing Single CIO Hedge Fund

Location: San Francisco

Being a small fund this role will end up a jack of all trades as you will be the right hand to the CIO. Focus will be on trading the CIO's book and helping them build the infrastructure of the fund. Trading, Strategy, Operations, Funding, IR, all part of the work involved.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitor and analyze markets to identify trading opportunities.
• Evaluate diverse datasets and market dynamics.
• Identify and execute trades within macro portfolios.
• Collaborate with CIO and team members to share and discuss research findings.
• Implement and monitor alpha signals and relevant datasets.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure compliance in trading activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; STEM majors are a plus.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of macro markets and CTA strategies.
• Experience in Equities, Vol, FX, Rates, or Government Bonds trading, with both buy-side and sell-side experience welcomed.
• Experience with high- mid- or low-frequency trading.
• Strong desire to work in a collaborative environment and share research and data analysis results with colleagues.
