The Role (Your Mission):
As our Temporary IT Systems Support Specialist , you’ll be the go-to problem solver. You’ll diagnose issues, support users, and strengthen our infrastructure—ensuring that police officers, fire stations, parks, and city services all run without disruption.
What You’ll Do:
Keep networks, systems, and applications up and running
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues quickly
Support city employees with timely, clear, and patient help desk solutions
Monitor cybersecurity practices and follow city security protocols
Document fixes, updates, and improvements for future reference
Step into projects or emergencies when extra support is needed

What We’re Looking For:
Experience in IT support, system administration, or help desk services
Familiarity with networking, security, and common business applications
Strong problem-solving mindset and calm under pressure
Excellent communication skills with non-technical users
Flexibility to adapt to short-term, long-term, or project-based needs
